Abuse can take its toll on both your mental and physical well being, and can manifest itself in many different ways. We often think of abuse as purely physical, but it can also be mental and psychological, ranging from controlling and conditioning to physical attacks. Counselling aims to work with both parties or individually, to understand the processes involved and help you on your path to recovery.
